Post Identify Bad SQL statement

Hi All,

I am new DB2DBA and I have a general question to Pro DBA's. Suppose one of the developer complained about their set of SQL statements are not performing fast ,it's taking to long to get the result. How do identify which SQL statement needs to be tuned ?

I'd start by asking one of the developers to run their SQL statements one by one and tell me which one he thinks is the culprit, why is it that he thinks so, and what he thinks is the acceptable performance.
