SQL1092N trying to create database

Windows, DB2 9

We were recently acquisitioned and our network got changed, etc. We were trying to fix an issue and ended up (wrongly) setting the dbm cfg back to default values.

Anyway, we can no longer create databases. I did drop one, but can't create one. I have checked the following:

SYSCTRL_GROUP
SYSADM_GROUP
id is an administrator on box and in DB2ADMNS group
DB2_GRP_LOOKUP

What am I missing?

thanks.

What error message(s?) did you receive, at the time of creating databases?

check sysadm group. if correct change dbm cfg and remove the group name

Unfortunately, that didn't work and now I can't drop databases. It's been 2 years since I've tried to install LUW and that was on AIX, but we may just reinstall and see if that fixes it.
