DB2 Vs Informix

Hi All,
I am a student of Advance database system.I have two questions in my mind

1) what is the biggest advantage of DB2 over Informix and whats the biggest drawback in DB2.
2) what is the biggest advantage of Informix over DB2 and whats the biggest drawback in Informaix.

Please anyone can help me with these two questions or any web resource which talks abt these issue.

Formulating differences and advantages is very difficult, mainly because (1) there are not that many people who know the two products well enough to compare, and (2) because advantages/disadvantages are measured w.r.t. a certain goal, and different people use RDBMSs for different purposes, hence will see different good or bad points in a certain product.

Anyhow, GOOGLE and Wikipedia are always good tools to find (partial) answers on this kind of questions:

yes ur rite bt actually i was trying to compare size limitation of both of these,like what is Max database size,what is Max table size,max number of columns in a row,Max Blob/Clob size ? in DB2 and Informix.

If anyone can provide me with these info abt Informix.I got DB2 info. bt not Informix....
