Macro substitution , evaluate variable

Hi,

I am trying to get value from field in table but the fieldname is variable

e.g my Fields in table are = Qty1 Numeric, Qty2 Numeric, Qty3 Numeric
my field name is in variable v_field = 'Qty1'
How can i evaluate v_field to get value of the field Qty1
