Question Installing fixpack 17

Hi all,

I am trying to install FP 17 on V8 Solaris environment. I have 4 instances on which DB2 runs. Is it possible to install FP 17 on one test instance and not on all the 4? If so, do I need to make any changes during installation? Any help regarding this topic will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Debayan

You will need to install an alternate fixpak (only availabe for DB2 ESE). You will then be able to update individual instances to the new fixpak level. Check the alternate fixpak readme file for more information.
