DB2 windows platform and CICS

Hello all...I researching a way to use CICS to query a DB2 database on the windows platform. We are trying to populate a CICS green screen with data from DB2 without using MQ if possible. I believe this process can be completed in the manner. If anyone has any solutions, I would greatly appreciate.

George

Are you talking about CICS on z/OS? You will need DB2 Connect to get to DB2 Windows from the mainframe and I believe that you must go through DB2 z/OS to do it.

Yes, I'm refering to CICS on z/OS and we have DB2 Connect. How do you get to DB2 from z/OS DB2? We have CICS applications querying z/OS, but getting the data from DB2 is where I'm lost.

You have to set up the DB2 Windows database as a remote database in DB2 for z/OS. I don't know the exact procedures.
