high user cpu

topas command in AIX box shows high user CPU (90+ %). But, the query CPU are very low. What would be reason for high user CPU but low query CPUs? What should I look for?

Thanks.

there can be n number of reasons why your CPU will be high..... just below the graph top processes which consume most CPU cycles are displayed..... have a look at those processes.... more often than not it will be some other activity which will be consuming your CPU cycles
