DB2DIAG.LOG question

I have DB2 9.5 running on Windows. I created a second DB2 Instance. The trouble I'm having is where to find the DB2DIAG.LOG for the Second instance???

I've searched the box, search this site, searched the web....

Try C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\IBM\DB2\DB2express\<instance name>

Hi,

Use Windows explorer and serach db2dia.log file

You can also set DB2 instance parameter diagpath to point to a known location.

Regards

Thank you for all the replies. This is Enterprise Edition - not Express. When I search all local harddrives on the Server for DB2DIAG.LOG I only find the DIAG log for the original (default) Instance.. I don't find one for the new instance. What would the command be to see the path to the DIAG log in the Config??? I looked in the config parameters for the instance.. I'm just stumped!

Thank you so much. The DIAGPATH was blank for this new Instance. I set the Path and DIAG level.

If the DIAGPATH is blank, it means the default path .... This is by design and nothing wrong with your installation.

Cheers
