v9.5 new dbm cfg params - 'Number compatibility' and 'Varchar compatibility'?

We migrated our databases from v8.2 to v9.5. I did 'get dbm cfg' and found new dbm cfg parameters in v9.5:

- Number compatibility; and
- Varchar2 compatibility.

set to OFF in our case.

What are they? I could not find any description on them anywhere.

Are they just informational? Or they do matter?

I believe these belong to the Oracle compatibility package. I guess you can disregard them unless you are migrating something from Oracle to DB2.

As Nick mentioned, they're related to the new compatability features in v9.5. For example, if you set DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR to 3F (db2set DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR=3F) prior to creating the db, then they'll be set to ON (these are db cfg parameters).
