Help needed answering a question

Hey guys, this probably isnt the right place to be posting this but my exams start next week and I really need help with this database question (cant find a good solution on the net). Here it is:

Discuss the properties of a well designed relational schema. Explain the main steps in design by synthesis and explain how the resulting database schema may have the properties of a well designed relational schema.
