Capacity Planning

Hi All,

I am doing capacity planning for a db2 database running on AIX 5.3 since we are planning to move from V8.2 to V9.5. We have already moved all the other environments long back but got approval and server setup for this one now. The database is only 80 GB currently and expected to grow very less in future. We have three other databases on different instances on this server negligible in size. I have already run a little analysis on the memory allocation of the database. I have not done a capacity planning before and want to know how to go about deciding on how much to allocate to individual file systems for eg. we have separate file systems for backups and log files.Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks in advance
