how much instance_memory used by instance?

is there a way to find out exact amount of memory used by an instance? dbm cfg parameter 'instance_memory' is set to automatic and we can not figure it out. Tried db2pd and it did give same 'automatic' which does not help. Manual says it's allocated when intstance is started and we need to find exact number. Thanks
