Hi All,

We are using DB2V8.1FP14 UDB server with OSlevel 5.2.

db2 fenced process are occupying high CPU utilization, And these fenced
process are getting generated when application team make use of the "db2cc"
to run a simple select against some table.

and we killed the fenced process which uses more CPU.

so application team needs to work in db2cc and this fenced process is
making use of more cpu every time.Every time we need to kill the db2 fenced
process.
Also we have set the dbm cfg parameter -- Keep fenced process (KEEPFENCED)
= NO .

why these process are occupying more cpu utilization which inturn affects the performance.
