redirected restore and renaming tablespaces

Hi,

DB2 Version 9.5.0.2a running on AIX Version 5.3

I am performing a redirected restore using the redirect generate script option and I'm able to change the tablespace container names in the script, but is there also a way to change the tablespaces names.

Regards,
Simon Grzebieta

Not that I am aware of. Containers don't actually have names (at least not ones that we see externally), they just have a file, path, or device specification. If you couldn't change these, then there would be no such thing as a redirected restore since that is what you are redirecting.

You can change the tablespace name using the rename tablespace statements
