Restore question

v8.2 FP 9 64-bit, AIX

I tried to restore an old backup, but it failed with the error it was the wrong platform. Checked the image with db2ckbkp and it says the platform was 4, current platform is 14.

I believe that backup was taken at v8.2 FP 7 32-bit. Problem is, I can't find any reference to a chart that decodes the platform numbers.

Anybody know where it is in the docs, or know what the codes are?

If your backup image is compressed, take a look at this:

Thanks Bella - you are probably right in assuming the problem is the compression libararies. I hadn't thought of that.
