Testing Our New Db2 9.5

We have installed a Db2 9.5 Workgroup server edition in a windows 2008 enterprise server. I have installed the client version in my Windows XP work station.

I been having an error
Communication function detecting the error: "connect". Protocol specific error code(s): "10060", "*", "*". SQLSTATE=08001

when i am adding the database form the server thru my client pc in the control center..

Could you help us on this..

As a new user, you should know that this is a standard response for DB2 when it cannot make an IP connection. The problem may be at either end of the attempted connection, but it usually will tell you in the error message which end it was at.
