Hi all,
We are having crash on the production server. This is a Gaming server.
We tried all except the application snapshot and Dynamic SQL. I will try to catch the snapshot info every 5 minutes and analyze it in real time.
Which columns from
Snapshot_APPL and
Snapshot_STATEMENT will be useful for my scenario below.

The server starts to saturate on disk C drive and SWAP partition I drive.
The disk activity goes very high between 2:45am and 3:30 am this results in locks and applications being thrown away. Finally the system crashes and applications give up, and, disk activity starts to decline.
My manager is highly qualified in system management professional. he suggests that some DB operations might be responsible for it, he wants me to identify which agents (applications) give rise to disk activity.
Noticed that CPu remains normal during this crash. ( below 15%)

Please help me know what might be causing and what info from snapshots should I look for.
I decided to watch it happening in real time.
