SQL Server Reporting Services Report Manager not able to connect to IBM DB2 databse.

Hi,

I have developed a report in SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services with IBM DB2 as the database. I am using OLE DB provider for DB2 to connect to the database from SSRS. It works fine in the Business Intelligence Studio. But when I deploy it in Report Server which is configured in native mode it is not working. It is showing error like: Provider keyword is not supported. I believe that the connection string is not being recognized. The connection string I have given is:

Provider=IBMDADB2.DB2COPY1;Data Source=WAREHOUS;Location=10.10.55.18

I even tried explicitly adding the provider details to the SSRS configuration file which did not help.

Another suggestion that had been made is to use the dot net provider for IBM DB2. I am not sure how to go about this.

Can anyone help me out? Please this is an issue that had been pending for some months now. Any help will be most welcome.

Regards,
L
