Production Server : "Process exception" Error messages

From Event Viewer : "System Log files" @ 12/06/2009 : 12:22:00 PM
The description for Event ID ( 1090 ) in Source ( Foundation Agents ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: The HP Management Agents have detected a process exception: PID: 7428 - DESC: db2bp.
We are on Windows NT SP2 with db2V9.1fp2

DB2 was not down. No errors in db2diag.log during timeframe apart from warning ADM1848W(which is not related to the error in event viewer)

Can anyone help us to explain why we got this error message?

db2bp is the DB2 "backend process". Most people refer to it as the CLP (command line processor).

If the warning message is saying that the description of the event cannot be found, then Andy provided the description to you. Just because some external monitoring program (apparently from HP) does not know what a db2bp process is (usually a DB2 command line session) does not mean there is actually any problem. Please contact HP for more information as to why they think there is a process exception.
