DB2 V8.2 WIN2003.

I am trying to connect to the database and getting the following error.

SQL1097N The node name was not found in the node directory. SQLSTATE=42720

The DB2 LIST NODE DIRECTORY shows the following now. But always we had only one entry which is PRIMENODE only. I dont know that how and where the NODE name NDE40582 came from.

Node 1 entry:

Node name = NDE40582
Comment =
Directory entry type = LOCAL
Protocol = TCPIP
Hostname = GB-MKN-DBM11DR
Service name = 50000

Node 2 entry:

Node name = PRIMNODE
Comment =
Directory entry type = LOCAL
Protocol = TCPIP
Hostname = GB-NOR-DBM11LI
Service name = 50000


ALSO
DB2 LIST ADMIN NODE DIRECTORY SHOWS again two entry. but always only one entry which is Node 2 entry 'GENERATE'. and no idea of the Node 1 entry.

Directory entry type = LOCAL
Protocol = TCPIP
Hostname = GB-MKN-DBM11DR
Service name = 523

Node 2 entry:

Node name = GENERATE
Comment = Local workstation

How can I resolve this please? I think something to do with catalog. But still i could not understand the catalog concept. can someone help me out?

You should probably show us the database directory listing, not the node directory.

Also I am getting SQL30081N error. SQLSTATE- 08001
