rid pool failure

What are the ways to avoid the RIDPOOL split happeneing and I understand absence of statistics is one of the reasons, are there any way we can tune the SQL to avoid the RID pool getting failed, also suggest what is the best RID pool failure value for safe side and if the RIDpool faillure < 100 is safe or not.

Rgds

Roger,
A lot of the time when you see this type of issue it is caused by poorly written SQL. Could you capture the SQL that is causing the RID pool failure and post it?
Dave
