visual explain error

I installed visual explain and all the db2 connect softwares and I use to explain a smple query, I set the sqlid and the schema for the query after making sure all the internal tables for the EXPLAIN is available, yes it it, butthe EXPLAIN failed, only error message is "An internal error occurred. Please contact with IBM support team for help"
But I am able to EXECUTE the same query and get the results, but EXPLAIN fails with the above mentioned internal error.
Pls help.
