Do I need db2inidb if I copied stopped db containers ?

Hi,

I want to copy db to another machine using Split Mirroring.
db2inidb does things like: performs crash recovery/brings db in rolforward pending state. But I copied containers+local db directory when source db was consistent(stopped). So maybe I don't need to use db2inidb command ?
(please do not suggest using backup/restore I need this to be done using Split Mirroring )

thanks
Vilius
