Hi Experts,

I am newbie to DB2. My seniors have told me to find the performance issues and performance tune the database.

Can anyone please tell me from where i need to start? What i need to do for the same?

Hire an experienced consultant who specializes in performance tuning.

It is sooo simple. The database is always limited by a bottleneck. Either:
- disk I/O
- memory
- CPU
- network

Determine your bottleneck, solve it
Determine your bottleneck, solve it
Determine your bottleneck, solve it
Determine your bottleneck, solve it
Determine your bottleneck, solve it
Determine your bottleneck, solve it
etc etc etc...

That's right, you're never finished
That's right, this is true for all databases, not only DB2
