Hi ,

Does anybody knows what the query text limit in db2 (8.2,9.1,95)?

and does using bind variables helps in reducing the query text size?

Thank you,

You need "Maximum total length of an SQL statement (in bytes)". That's the maximum length as it appears in your code. If you have parameter markers, the text is relevant. If you have spaces or comments, those count as well. The actual value to which a host variable refers to does not count.
