I created an AIX LV say lvdata which striped on hdisk0 to hdisk6. And then created a tablespace say data_tb which has only one dms container lvdata. Here is a question if I create 7 LVs, each LV sit on one physical disk, then create 7 containers for each LV. I know DB2 will automatically write data to these LVs by round-robin method. I am not sure which method will have the better performance?
