Post Unable to remotely connect via control center

Hi,
I have two machines A & B over the network both running on DB2 V9.5 workgroup server edition.

Machine A is on Suse linux while Machine B is on Windows XP

From the control center of machine A when I try to add a new database and enter machine B's ip in the hostname field, it is able to fetch all the databases from B. But when I trying doing the same from machine Bs control center as soon as I enter A's ip and say "search" this throws up:

SQL30081N A communication error has been detected. Communication protocol being used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location where the error was detected: "<machine A's IP>". Communication function detecting the error: "connect". Protocol specific error code(s): "10061", "*", "*". SQLSTATE=08001

The port number for DB2 on machine A is 50003 while the one for machine B is 50000. Both machines can ping each other. What may be the problem??

Please advice, thanks
