while installing DB2 V9.7 binaries on AIX, I see this warning message

WARNING:
Unable to find AIX IOCP package on the system.
If you installing DB2 Server package, AIX IOCP package is required.
Please refer to DB2 Information Center on how to install and configure IOCP.

When I see the DB2 9.7 information centre. It says DB2 default Asynchronus I/0 (AIO) uses I/O completion ports (IOCP) and they say its a kind of must for DB2 V9.7

Although I installed DB2 V9.7 on one of the test host without IOCP inplace, I would like to know if anyone encountered this situation and I would really appreciate any suggestions on this.
