DB2 reports different IPs for same APPL.

Hello Friends,

While investigating Held Logs occurence I have come accross a situation that CLIENT IP reported seems different.

Quote:

PID : 1388 TID : 5376 PROC : db2syscs.exe
INSTANCE: DB2 NODE : 000 DB : TRIUMPH
APPHDL : 0-7588 APPID: 10.70.2.231.62637.100224200100
AUTHID : DB2ADMIN
EDUID : 5376 EDUNAME: db2agent (TRIUMPH)
FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, data protection services, sqlpgResSpace, probe:2860
MESSAGE : ADM1823E The active log is full and is held by application handle
"43968". Terminate this application by COMMIT, ROLLBACK or FORCE
APPLICATION.
So the application was started from client on 10.70.2.231.

When sysibmadm.snaplocks was queried application id appeared as
Code:
2010-02-24-12.33.06.424819 43968 X PLAYER_STATS 0 2010-02-24-12.33.06.310043 db2jccmain UOWWAIT GA46042D.PBAD.100224173317
Application ID GA46042D.PBAD.100224173317 indicates 10.70.4.45

I am curious to know if I am being confused in understanding or interpreting the output.

Please advise me.

Maybe I am missing something, but how do you know this is the same application?

Application with the handle 7588 connects from 10.70.2.231 (I suspect it's the server IP).

Application with the handle 43968 connects from what you say is 10.70.4.45
