Snapshot for app: please confirm my assumtions

To get insight in the number of connections which are idle for a long time I am working on a script. I want to burden the system as less as possible (Monitor Switches) so I do not want to activate monitor switches which are not absolutely required. But, as you might know, when you do not activate enough switches, not enough data is gathered.

I found out: when you activate only the "timestamp" and the "uow" switch and then run the "snapshot for application" the "idle time" is not collected, but the "UOW stop timestamp" is.

I ASSUME that a connection with a "UOW stop timestamp" of longer than 1 hour ago you are dealing with a session which is idle for more that one hour.
My question:
a. yes, that is true
b. no, that is bullshit
