i have installed db2 9.7 in suse.while logging in as db2inst1....i get error
bash export:db2inst1:command not found
bash export:db2inst1:command not found

but it gets into db2inst1 anyway and i able to do all the things in db2...i need to avoid the error occurring while logging in as db2inst1........when i googled n found that i have to add export PATh=$PATH:/usr/sbin in .bashrc or run the command in terminal......since its a production machine i am afraid to use trial n error method here....is this the right command to solve the problem .....or is there any other way to solve this.....
