Does the size of a Physical partition [PP size] of a Volume group[VG] matter for DB2 Database Design ?

PP sizes of all our database are not constant. Some of them are 16, 32, 64 and 128 MBs. I just wanted to check if this is something which DB2 recommends ? Or is it a consideration which AIX need team needs to look after.

I didn't get you. When I say we have different sizes, they are not different for each database. For each database, db2 uses only one VG and the PP size is anyways same for all the LVs on that VG and so a single database use same PP sizes for all its tablespaces. But we have different dbs for different applications. One database for application 'x' use 16 MB as a pp size. Another database for application 'y' use 32 MB as pp size. Is there any proper recomendation of the size of the physical parition ?

Does it matter if one room in your house bigger then another? No, as they have their own purpose. Same here.
