Hi All,

DB2 9.5 and HCAMP 6.1 AIX 6.1 is my environment. We created all the data filesystems as shared and instance directory too. We changed "db2nodes.cfg" with HACMP name.

The issue is databases created on primary node. we can't access the same databases in secondary node. But getting this error.

db2 connect to TEST2
SQL1031N The database directory cannot be found on the indicated file system.
SQLSTATE=58031


The database directory cannot be found on the indicated file system.


Database directory was there but can't access it.

Finally I am able to found solution to this issue. When I am bring down server AIX suppose ( this is how we set it up) to bring to db2 instance.

Those AIX RC.local files didn't work properly.

Now everything is working fine. we are able move resources to primary/secondary node with having any issues.
