Hi , I have installed and started db2 v8.1 ( to re-create prod issues). But when I issued db2_all (eg db2_all date) I receive an errorr "Permission denied" for all 6 partitions.

The file system used(/db2store) owned by root but I gave 'rw' for others as this is a test system. Db2 home directory (/db2store/db2test1) own by db2test1.

.rhosts has permissions as below :
-rw------- 1 db2test1 db2grp1


I have created the sample database without an error. Can someone shade some light please

Thanks Bella, This was due to the environment hasn't been setup for the user. I have used sesu without '-' .
