I created a database and the code set requirement for the software I am using is IBM-1252. My selection was 1252 or UTF-8.

question 1) Is 1252 the same thing as IBM-1252?

I did not do the initial DB2 v9 software install and I am not familiar with the install process.

question 2) When you install DB2 is there a code set choice you have to make at that level?

I am receiving an error on my software install that says the code set is incorrect. I can right click on my database I created and see that it is set at 1252. So I am wondering if the code set is incorrect some where else.
