run query and store results

We are having some issues with our DB and I would like to run a query (to check a application queue) every 15 seconds or so. I could probably find a couple of different ways to script this to have it write to a file but i was wondering if there was anything native to DB2 9.1 that would allow me to do this. New to DB2 so figured i'd take the opportunity to dig around a bit
