db2icrt

My setup for this issue:

AIX 5.3.0.0

DB21085I Instance "db2sb1" uses "64" bits and DB2 code release "SQL09015" with
level identifier "01060107".
Informational tokens are "DB2 v9.1.0.5", "s080512", "U815922", and Fix Pack
"5".
Product is installed at "/opt/IBM/db2/V9.1".

Logged in as root.

Could someone tell me please ~ when a new db2 instance is created, is there a log of what was run and the results?

I am trying to create another instance but running into trouble. I have searched on this forum regarding the errors I'm getting and I don't think this is the place to bore you with that as similar threads have gone unanswered.

If db2icrt failed, it show the errors to the terminal as well as provide the location of the log file. If you're still having trouble creating the instance, please provide the output of the error.
