DB2 on AIX - DPF

Hi, we mainly use command line to interact/administer db2 except the schedule jobs via cron for the housekeeping etc.

Could someone advise is there a better way of interacting with db2 other than the comand line in db2 with DPF. I tried the control center but to change the partitions still one needs to use the command line. We are new to DB2 and thanks for sharing your experience.
