Table Access for functions ??

Hi,

I am having problem assigning privildges to a user to tables in other schema in a function. May be bind authority or something that I am missing ??

That is because you cannot use GRANT/REVOKE in a function:

IBM DB2 9.5 Information Center for Linux, UNIX, and Windows

You can use GRANT in a Stored Procedure, but not REVOKE, so if all you need is GRANT, then you can write a Stored Procedure and wrap your function around the SP.
