IBM Data Studio Connection to DB2 Version 9.7 FP2
Hello guys,

We have a customer who asked us how it is possible to change the timeout value of 30 minutes.

Because anytime he connects to a database and he leaves the machine, he gets a timeout after about 30 min ...

Connection is being made from IBM Data Studio to DB2 Version 9.7 FP2.

Connection Timeout
So were you able to figure out the timeout setting. I am using IBM Data Studio 2.2 to connect to DB2 LUW 9.7 and DB2 on Iseries. Both connections timeout around 15 minutes of inactivity or less.

If anybody has a suggestion would be really appreciated, on how to keep the connection going
