Getting error while executing any db2 command

Dear All,
Please help me in getting out of this....
We are presently working on version 8.1 fp 12 and planning to migrate to version 9.5.
I have installed version 9.5 yesterday and after that I am facing a problem...after issuing any db2 command I am getting below error:

DB21015E The Command Line Processor backend process request queue or input
queue was not created within the timeout period.

and while issuing db2level command I am getting below error:

INGTESTDB:uding604 :/usr/opt/db2_08_01/instance> db2level
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program db2level because of the following errors:
0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for db2level because:
0509-136 Symbol sqlt_logerr_str (number 32) is not exported from
dependent module /opt/IBM/db2/V9.5/lib64/libdb2.a[shr_64.o].
0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the
'dump -Tv' command.

Please help me to make a way out of it...

thanks..
Harsh Verma

I suspect the binaries in that path are not longer valid. Where does DB2DIR point to? What is in LIBPATH?
