Can we use the asntdiff utility without replication environment set?

Hi
I read about the table row comparision utility available in db2 the asntdiff.
My doubt is that can I use this for comparing the data of 2 tables of the same database of similar definition without a replication environment set?

I am using UDB db2 v 8.1. Fixpack 10. OS- Sun solaris.
