db2:How to know client or server

Hello All,
I am new to db2, how to know weather db2 installed is client version or server version in a machine.Thanks in advance.

hi,
thank u for ur quick response.But in client, i typed the command licm -l it does not give any response.

The Command is "db2licm -l" not "licm -l"

Or you could type
"db2 get dbm cfg" and check the second row, but it's might be misleading.
