DB21015E error when starting db2 client on windows

Hi everone,

I have issue starting db2 itself on windows env. DB2 version 9.5 Data Server client. When I am entering db2 in db2clp prompt it is giving error :

DB21015E

The Command Line Processor backend process request queue or input queue was not created within the timeout period.

Dont understand whts the issue, pls help me out asap !!!!!!!

If you are already in the CLP, you do not have to precede each command with "db2".

Thats rit, but m nt able to getin to db2 prompt, as it results in error mentioned. Also, I am nt able to open any gui tools say db2cc. Is it realted to ny permission issue or smthin else ???

That would be my guess. Either your permissions are not correct, or your configuration is bad.
