df -k

$ df -k /home
Filesystem 1024-blocks Free %Used Iused %Iused Mounted on
/dev/hd1 12582912 909332 93% 11707 6% /home

can any one expalin what is 1024-blocks(12582912) , it is in bytes or KB????what its value of Free(909332)in MB

db2 "call get_dbsize_info (?,?,?,0)"
Value of output parameters
--------------------------

and also clarify can i restore the db with above size on /home??????? is space is enough???

The -k tells the df Command to return values in KiloByte.
So the Filesystem has 12 GB and 900 MB are free.

Since the Database has a size of 3 GB, you can't restore it to your home-Directory.
