confusion with Db2 version

Hi,
I am getting different version information after executing db2licm -l and db2level command. Please find the attached file.

db2cap. IBM created a lot of confusion with DB2 V8.1/V8.2. V8.1 became V8.2 with Fixpak 7. They also both restarted the Fixpak number and kept the original so V8.1 Fixpak 8 and V8.2 Fixpak 1 are the same thing (or something like that. Did I mention the numbering was confusing...).

This is as close as I can find. It list the FixPaks by the different DB2 versions. It only goes back to V8.2 but you can see that that starts with FixPak 7:

It is all V8. It was just referred to as V8.2 after FP 7

If you follow the link to Fix List (APARS), you can find a reference to '...DB2 UDB VERSION 8.1 FIXPAK 7 (V8.2)...'
