Folks,

Can you please help me resolve the following error?

$ db2evmon -path /db2/databases/PANDITT/db2inst1/NODE0000/SQL00001/db2event/db2detaildeadlock

Then my guess is it is either corrupted, or something else has it open.

I agreed with ARWinner, your database get corrupted. You can resolved this error by using DB2 Recovery Software. I will suggest you before purchasing any recovery software, first try demo version of the software. You can try Stellar Phoenix DB2 Recovery Software. The software is one of the best recovery software.

The Database is not corrupted. Just the Data for DB2DETAILDEADLOCK Event-Monitor.

I'ld stop it (set event monitor DB2DETAILDEADLOCK state 0), move all the files to another directory and restart the event monitor (set event monitor DB2DETAILDEADLOCK state 1). Don't know if it's the 'official' way, but it worked fine for me.
