is there an equivalency to the sysibmadm schema within v8?

I'm trying to pull the DB/DBM values out of the database without having to submit a "get db/dbm cfg" at the prompt. In v9, I went straight to the sysibmadm tables, where would I find this information in v8?

TIA!

You can use db2pd with -dbcfg / -dbmcfg if you're on v8.2

Or you can use the respective APIs and do this programmatically.

DBM_GET_CFG
and
DB_GET_CFG

One of them was a table function and the other was a procedure

Don't remember which db2 level they were introdcued.
