What are the factors i have to consider while estimating space required for database for the for upcoming one year, other than containers (for DMS), logpath in db cfg
i found logarchmeth1=TSM for some servers and logarchmeth1=off for some servers

You need free space for SMS tablespaces, typically used for system temporary tablespaces. These may grow to as a large as you biggest table temporarily during a query or utility operation.
