DB2 Filesystem

Hello All,

What would be the ideal file system requirement for a Non-Sap Database in DB2.

We have given like below for the existing environment .

/dev/fslv03 10485760 6517080 38% 393 1% /db2/db2mast - Database home directory
/dev/fslv04 10485760 4221336 60% 8969 1% /db2/IBM - Db2 software installation
/dev/fslv05 78643200 78470824 1% 10 1% /db2/db2mast/data1 - Data
/dev/fslv06 78643200 78630864 1% 4 1% /db2/db2mast/data2 - Data
/dev/fslv07 20971520 20930828 1% 20 1% /db2/db2mast/log1 - Log
/dev/fslv08 20971520 20967992 1% 4 1% /db2/db2mast/log_archive Archive logs

During the installation the by default it will create 3 tablespace in db2/db2mast and by going forward I will create the rest of the tablespace/containers In the data1 and data 2 directory .

Is the above filesystem is ok from the space prspective and other area or am I missing something .

Regards
Sam
